Motorcycles
I love motorcycles and the freedom you get from the wind
in your face. I got my
first one when I was 5 and have been riding ever since. I've owned pretty much
every type...Enduros, motocross, cruisers, standards, tourers, sportbikes,
racebikes, even mopeds and minibikes in all sizes. Each has their purpose, their
strengths and weaknesses. As a self taught mechanic I've come to actually enjoy
building/fixing them up almost as much as riding them. Recently I've found that
having project bikes is a great hobby and it's very satisfying to turn a pile of
parts into a running machine again. That's why I have gone back to the older
bikes with the 3 below.

Finished restoring my best friend Rhonda's 1980 Honda CM400A Hondamatic. Click HERE to see it.
My big touring bike, 1985 Yamaha Venture Royale. Here's Max
My newest project, a 1990 Yamaha FJ1200. Here
Here is a small collection of a few of my previous rides.
Honda CBR1000 Hurricane. This one was
probably my favorite when I was younger and had working knees. It was surprisingly comfortable and just cruised all day.

Yamaha FJ1100. Another one of my favorites. Again it was
pretty comfortable and would go all day long.

Kawasaki Eliminator 900. A street fighter. Lots of
power for straight line running.

Suzuki Katana 600. I used it for college and then ended up
racing it before I switched to a GSXR750. A crash on the track made me realize
that 2 grand for replacement fairings was beyond my budget at the time.

Honda Shadow 700. College cruiser. Wasn't too bad but
didn't have enough umph for real cruising.

Suzuki GS1000S. An original muscle bike that I should have
never sold. Had this and the Spectre at the same time and just didn't have time
or money to finish restoring either of them.

Kawasaki 1100 Spectre. I was trying to restore one like
this
but didn't keep it long enough to truly enjoy it. (not original picture)

Yamaha XS1100

KZ1000. Had this for a few months with
the intention of turning it into a cafe racer but instead traded it for my
current FJ1200
