What does Burghart Information Services do?

I do a bunch of different things:

• Freelance reporting and research: I can report on anything that's in the public realm. In other words, public meetings, public documents and events. I especially like to do political research and "issue" stories.
• Editing: I will edit for grammar, spelling and punctuation.
• Freelance writing: Pick a topic.
• Photography: I've shot just about everything except weddings.
• Newsletters: I can develop your newsletter from idea to print, including text, design and photographs.
• Internet design: I'll design an Internet site to your specifications.

How much do you charge?

• Editing: $50 per hour.
• Freelance writing: Depends on the size of the publication and the number of words.
• Photography: $30 per hour.
• Newsletters: $50 per page.
• Freelance reporting and research: $30 per hour plus expenses; includes travel time, event and report.
• Internet design: Depends on the work involved.
